Maui Young Business Round Table

Maui Young Business Roundtable is a forum that provides a networking environment for young business professionals who work and live on Maui. As they say, it's all about who you know. MYBR provides opportunities for social networking on a monthly basis. They bring in guest speakers to discuss valuable information on Maui's economy.

To apply, you can visit the MYBR website. Exeptional individuals are typically chosen for admission to the group. They tend to look for leadership and community service among their members.

MYBR's next meeting will include Maui's former Mayor, Alan Arakawa as a guest speaker at 5:30p.m. on August 13th. The meeting will be held in the Maui Electric Company auditorium at 210 W. Kamehameha Ave. in Kahului. The former Mayor will discuss his thoughts on how to improve Maui's economy in ways that will benefit the business community. Water systems and the proposed home occupation business ordinance are two subjects that Arakawa plans to explore.

The meeting will also include an announcement of the MYBR's Member of the Year award as well as the election of new board members. Members get in free, but they can also bring guests for $5. To reserve seating, call President David Tester at 280-3143 or email david.tester@mauielectric.com.
