Thanksgiving Dinner Cruise

Hawaii sunset

We're going to break from our typical business emphasis in this blog in order to encourage you to do the same in your life. We're sure that, like us, you have been working very hard all year. You may have encountered financial stress, you may have not. You may have suffered due to recent economic fluctuations, or you may have not. Whatever the case may be, sometimes it is necessary to slow down and forget your difficulties, if only for a day.

Most of us have been told that when you worry about a problem, you pay twice. In a perfect world, we would acknowledge that truth and apply it to our everyday lives, but as most of us can attest to, that is much easier said than done. Fortunately, the holidays can be a good distraction from your various struggles. Consider treating yourself and a loved one to a relaxing holiday event.

The Pacific Whale Foundation is planning a traditional Thanksgiving feast on a sunset dinner cruise. Passage includes dinner, dessert, refreshments, and even a few alcoholic beverages. There will be live Hawaiian music, and with a little luck, you will be able to whitness some of the first signs of the annual humpback whale migration.  The ship will be departing from Lahaina Harbor. Call 249-8811 ext. 1 or click here for more information and select the 27th on the calendar that appears. If you enjoy relaxing ocean cruises but Thanksgiving isn't a good time for it, consider the stargazing cruise on the following night. The new moon should promise spectacular views of the night sky.

Consider this a friendly remember to slow down once in a while and think about your own needs. Adapt and adjust to the changes around you, but don't allow yourself to become overwhelmed, and don't be afraid to ask for a little help once in a while. Speaking of a helping hand, if you are looking for a new property on Maui, please call 808-662-0003 or send an email to robert@mauihomesales.com. We have everything from Haiku land to Wailuku homes and condos in Kaanapali. Have a great Thanksgiving!
