SEPA’s Overall Top Ten Rankings of 2007 | | July 26, 2008 | | Maui Electric Company ranks in SEPA’s Overall Top Ten Rankings of 2007 U.S. Utility Solar Electricity Market Survey. The Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA)determines the nation’s most solar-integrated utility companies for the year.
Maui Electric Co, a subsidiary of Hawaiian Electric Industries, ranked No. 5 for investor-owned utilities, while Kauai Island Utility Cooperative ranked No. 6 for public power utilities. Other than Hawaii, the states of Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin made rankings on one or more of several lists.
