 Historic Lahaina celebrates its 8th Annual Independence Day Celebration again this year, including music, entertainment, food, and a dazzling over-the-water fireworks display to top off the evening.
Several Lahaina, Maalaea, and Kaanapali charter cruises and restaurants will be offering fireworks specials. Entertainment, music, and vending booths will be set up at the Wharf Cinema Center from 3pm-7pm, and Lahaina Public Library will host a free concert on the lawn from 6pm-8pm. Be sure to bring blankets or chairs to sit on, and stay to view the fireworks which are due to begin at around 8pm. Alcohol, however, is strictly prohibited.
Don't worry about the parking situation, either. West Maui resort guests will have a free shuttle into Lahaina Town at their service, and Maui Bus is offering extended service routes in West Maui for the day.
